How accurate is this kundli?expand_more
It uses standard Vedic (sidereal) calculations with the Lahiri ayanamsha, the system most Indian astrologers use. Accuracy depends mainly on your birth time: even a few minutes can change your Lagna, so use the time from your birth certificate if you can.

What are Mangal Dosha and Sade Sati?expand_more
Mangal Dosha is when Mars sits in certain houses of your chart, traditionally considered when matching for marriage. Sade Sati is Saturn's roughly seven-and-a-half-year transit around your Moon sign. Families often perform a Mangal Dosha Nivaran Puja or Shani Sade Sati Puja to ease their effects.
What are the Lagna, Chandra, Navamsa and Chalit charts?expand_more
The Lagna Kundli (D1) is your main birth chart, with your rising sign as house 1. The Chandra Kundli puts your Moon sign in house 1 and is used for the mind and for Gochar. The Navamsa (D9) is read for marriage and the inner strength of planets. The Bhava Chalit places planets by exact degree, so a planet near a sign edge can shift house. All are drawn in North Indian style: the top-centre house is house 1 and houses run anticlockwise.
What is Gochar?expand_more
Gochar means the planets' current transits. Traditionally each transit is counted from your Moon sign: for example, Jupiter in the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th or 11th house from your Moon is considered favourable. Slow planets like Saturn and Jupiter shape longer periods, while the Moon and Sun colour days and weeks. The Gochar tab updates every day.
